My experience might be a little different because I went in for a fetal echocardiogram, so no pedi involved, but after the echo I met with the perinatal cardiologist and we discussed the findings and talked about next steps. Then she wrote up a report and sent it over to both my regular and my high risk OB.
My experience there was really great. Good luck to you.
Amelia had had one there, we got the results from our pedi (the Dr who ordered the test). They're not the best on timelines at all. Some of her tests we were told we'd have results (her first CT) in 24 hours and it was a very long and frustrating week and a half before we got answers. Other test we were told 2-3 days (the ultrasound being one of those) and we got the results the next day. The TCPA offices are finally going paper free with charts and I think this had helped speed things up.
TCH is an awesome place, bills is also overwhelming and a bit scary. I hope everything goes well for you!
I don't know about TCH, but for most u/s and testing done, the results go straight to the Dr that ordered it. HOWEVER, there should be some kind of release form that you can fill out and obtain the results too.
Not at TCH, but when C had to have a hip u/s up here, the tech did her thing, then a doctor from the hospital came in and said everything she had done looked fine, but he needed to verify things. His part was much shorter, then he said his hips looked great and he'd send a report saying as much to the pedi.

BFP #2 5/27/12. EDD 2/1/13. m/c and D&C 6/21/12.
I think our experience was different because our pedi is a TCH pedi?
Anyway, tech did the u/s, sent the images straight to the radiologist who came back a few minutes later and gave us the all clear!!
