Kinda pissed...

We told some more family we are expecting and DH and I only told some of our possible names to our immediate families and asked them not to say anything...my little sister told all my aunts on my mom's side and I am already getting opinions on them! I know I shouldn't care about what others think...our baby=our name choice...but still kinda pissed at my sis.

My aunts also are annoyed that we are not finding out what we are having...cause they claim that will make planning the baby shower more difficult! Whatever happened to "Congrats! Wish you all the best...so happy for you!"

Oye, that would be very upsetting!!!! I'm sorry. We're not planning on finding out the sex either (or if we do we're pretending like we didn't, just cause we want gender neutral). I would be so upset if I got that reaction, same to the names! Oye!!!! I'm sorry that people are just being, rude!

Once the baby arrives, everyone has an opinion on how you should be raising LO.  "I'ts too cold - that baby should have a hat on" "Why are you bundling him up, he's going to overheat!"  "Only lazy mothers use formula" "If you give him the breast, you're going to spoil him!"

Ugh. DH & I have only told our closest friends at this point. We plan on telling everyone next week after we (hopefully) see the hb. I already dread all the "advice"

Wow - annoying on both counts!!  I hate when you can't trust people to keep things to themselves.  And seriously, when people get annoyed at my choices because it doesn't make things convenient for them, it makes me want to do things just to spite them.  LIke even if you did find out, not tell them.

We had so many people tell us they thought our daughters name was "interesting" while I was pregnant. MH and I love her name and it totally fits her. I always listened to what people said and shook my head and forgot what they said. And man does that unsolicited advice drive me crazy! My favorite was when people without kids were trying to tell me how to parent...seriously?!?!
