Anyone have any idea? I'm making just plain ol' Kraft M&C, and I kind of want to and something too it..I was thinking of adding some breadcrumbs for texture. But what else? I would add some browned ground beef, but I don't have any (or chicken). How about a vege, like peas? Does that sound gross?

Re: What can you add to Mac&Cheese?

I hate peas, so Blech! on that one (just kidding).
Veggies?
Other cheeses? (to give it a more interesting flavor)?
Bacon (turkey bacon is good as it is less greasy)?
You could also put the bread crumbs on top and stick the pan in the broiler for a few minutes to brown it up and make it look pretty.

This Cluttered Life
Hubby slices hot dogs and cooks them on the stove top and then adds them in with some extra cheese. Yummy.
