I had my HSG this afternoon.  It wasn't two awful bad.  My tubes appeared to be clear.  DHs SA came back a little worse than last time.  The RE does not want me to take anything this time and to come back in on CD3 of my next cycle and we will start some type of medication and an IUI.  I wish that he would have told me what type of medication I would be taking since I am pretty sure that it will not be Clomid, esp if it is something that I cannot get at a regular pharmacy.

Good news about your HSG!    I'd imagine that if you ask your doctor for specifics, s/he'll tell you what the meds are.  Hope that the new plan is the right one for your sticky baby...GL!!!

good news that your tubes are clear.  did they mention anything about DH's SA, like could he take supplements or anything like that to try and improve it?

i'm sure if you just called and asked what meds the doc had in mind they would tell you.  the curiousity would get to me too.

I asked today about the medicine and he was just like we will discuss it on CD3.  He did not mention anything about DH, but he does have Fertilityaid advertisements in his office so I thought about order some of that for DH.

oh i see.  that stinks you have to wait to find out then. 

DH took fertilaid and surprisingly enough that was the month we got a BFP.  however i could not get DH to stick to taking it everyday 2-3x's a day.  argh.

I'm glad it wasn't awful! And good luck next month. I will say that the doctors are very good about getting the medicine to you when you need it. Still, I don't blame you for wanting to know "the next step".

Im glad your tubes are clear and I'd want to know what they had in mind as far as medication as well........Sorry to hear your DH's s/a wasn't so great.   Hopefully there is something that he can take, vitamin, etc, to help out with that.   GL w/ the IUI, Im hoping that does it for you

That's great that the hsg went well. Hopefully it will give your iui a little boost since the hsg alone does seem to help some people get pg.  That stinks that they didn't tell you what you would be taking to be prepared, but hopefully when they do tell you they will have the details as to how you are going to get it worked out.  I had my trigger shot shipped to my doorstep which was nice, so I hope something like that is an option for you to get whatever you need.

Glad it went well.  I hope you get some answers on your plan for next month soon.  I think most of the pharmacies can overnight meds to you and many RE's have a stash that they keep so you should be ok to get your meds when you need them.
