but I'm having a hard time with a middle name. I love the name Alexander but I'm not sure If I should use it as a middle name or wait for if we have another boy. Here are the ideas we have so far, but I would love ideas too!
Jack MacKenzie Kelly (MacKenzie is a family name)
Jack Alexander Kelly
Jack Hudson Kelly
Jack Harper Kelly
Re: Hubby picked the name Jack...
Jack Mack(enzie) is too rhymey
I like Jack Alexander, but the initials JAK and the name Jack are a little cutesy
Jack Hudson is nice. Almost sounds like a classic mystery character from the 40's lol
Jack Harper kinda runs together and sounds like Jackarper
If you name him Jack Alexander Kelly (which I LOVE), his initials will also read JAK...
dumb, I know, but I thought it was a coincidence worth pointing out...
Can I suggest naming him John and calling him Jack? John's a little easier to find a MN for becaus it's not as abrupt.
John Alexander flows very well and looks great. That would be my pick. And since Jack is a common NN for John (and one that ages well), he can go by Jack his whole life with no problem.
My husbands name is actually John, so that's not an option for us. Thanks though!

Here are more ideas ...
Good luck!
I like Jack Alexander, but like many others have said ... the initials are JAK.
If that wouldn't bother you, than go for it!!!
My second vote is Jack Hudson Kelly. Hope this helps.

These are along the lines of what I was thinking...here are my notes:
Jack Mack would be kind of a neat nick name
JAK is also neat in my eyes...I like names that do that
Jack Hudson is totally a film noir name, but in an awesome way
Jack Harper is nice, but I agree with the sound.
