Thank you card question

I received a joint gift from two of my co-workers. Do you give each person a thank you card (they signed the same card)? Or do you send them a joint thank you card? I am so in the dark with thank you card etiquette.

I give each person a thank you card. 20 people in my office went in on a baby swing for us so I wrote 20 different thank you's. That took some time:-)
