follicle size before trigger?

i am going on day 8 of 75 units of follistim...today i went in for monitoring and both ovaries had an 11 mm follicle.  they asked me to come in tomorrow for more b/w and ultrasound again which to me, makes it seem like we are close to triggering but 11 mm seems small to me.

this is my first IUI cycle so i'm all new to this.  how large do they typically like the follicles to be before triggering?

I had a 21 and a 12 and was told the 12 was too small, we triggered anyway for the 21 but I thought she said they like to see above a 15. Don't quote me on that though.

My RE always wanted me to be at 18 before I triggered. I know some people have triggered with smaller follies since they will still grow, but we have always had to wait.

My nurse said anything over 15 is considered mature.

My RE will have me trigger when I have a follie that is between 18 and 20.  Your follies will grow apprx. 2mm a day.

Hope it is ok to reply...My RE like the largest one to be at least 18mm before triggering.

My RE always shoots for at least 18mm.  Mature follies are btwn 18-24 mm. They do grow an averge of 2mm per day though.
