random question: how to use a triple monogram?

I want to get these custom monogrammed glasses for DH for the holidays and been searching online but want to make sure Im getting it right! Anyone know...is it first initial, last name initial and then middle intial??

for ex: if your name is Bob Joe Smith it would be:

BSJ right??

That's right.  And usually the middle letter (last name) is a little bit bigger in size than the other two letters.
