Rate my stash?

Okay do you hate these?  If so I will go hide  I'm sorry but I only saw one other one and I went back 5 or 6 pages and it was well received.   This is for a newborn.

I already have about 6 or 8 snappis, I just forgot where I put them...and 12 diaper pins.  I am awaiting the arrival of 12 FB small, the rest is a planned order from GMD if you all give the "a-ok."

3 GMD Infant fitted diapers (snaps)

6 Workhorse Fitteds, newborn, no closure

6 Workhorse Fitteds, small, no closure

3 Snug-to-fit supreme

12 Cloth-eez small prefolds

12 Cloth-eez medium prefolds

2 Litewraps newborn

2 Litewraps small

1 Thirsties cover Xsmall

1 Thirsties cover small

1 Bummies Super Brite small

Do I have too much of anything?  Too little?  I want to have enough so I won't have to be scrambling to buy more when he starts outgrowing them so I have some that are sorta in between so I have time to order medum-large sizes.  I'm sorry I'm just still learning.

Waaay to many snappis.  You only need 2-3.  You can only use one at a time & they really don't ever get dirty, KWIM?

I haven't used the GMD infant snapped or the workhorse or the supreme, but it looks to me like you need a lot more newborn diapers.  Smalls won't fit a newborn for quite a while.

Also, I am nervous for you on the 12 FB S.  That's a lot to buy of something you aren't 100% sure will work for you.  Lots of people love FB, but for me they leak every.single.time.

I loved the workhorse diaper, so I would either get more of them or more prefolds.  NBs go through so many changes, it's ridiculous, and smalls will likely not fit for a long while.  We were just able to get DD into them in the past week or so.  Until now, it's been nb sized diapers.

Agreed - you need more newborn diapers.

And the FB perfect size run very big so don't count on those fitting for quite a while til your LO grows and chunks up! We are on the tightest setting on the mediums right now at 5 months and my DD is a chubster. She could probably fit into a small still.

We found 30 newborn diapers and 24 of each size after that to be perfect to wash every other day. I used mainly GMD orange edge prefolds and some Kissaluv size 0 for newborn. It's also great to have 5 covers in each size.
