Have to AW my little girl.

She's a tough little thing at 23 months old.

Today we went for a walk in our woods. We went from our deck, past the shed, way out to the edge of the ravine, cut across to the neighbor's treehouse, and then hiked back to our house.

According to the county site maps, she walked just under 1/3 of a mile in pretty rough terrain. Rocks, sticks, lots of little trees in the way, and uphill on the way back. She fell a couple of times and only had me carry her once for about 20 feet over a ditch.

  • She did hang on to me much of the way. The going was a little rough. I let her head out on her own a few times, and she waited for me and said "Howd mah HAND, mama!" Big Smile

  • That is great.  DS is a total walker.  Would walk forever if I let him (slow), DD on the other hand is the reason for the double stroller (Mooooomy, I am tirrrreeed... whine..... whine.... whine.)  If I had the reverse, I could sell my doubles and move on, much faster.
