  • Black Opal, Winehaven, and Cupcake are pretty good. Average about 10$ per bottle. If you want even cheaper, Tisdale and Matthew Fox are delicious and only about 4$ per bottle :)
  • Not sure if you have a World Market by you, but they have some great wine under $20 (even $10) - I love Garnacha de Fuego (Spanish red).

I also like Bella Sera and ... and I just bought wine at the grocery store the other day called "Middle Sister - Drama Queen" (pinot grigio) that wasn't half bad. (That was on CD1 and I was a little batty...)

And... I'm not above buying a case of 2 buck Chuck at Trader Joe's!! Big Smile  For some reason, everyone loves that wine - and it never gives me a headache the next day!

Ha! I normally get the 2 buck chuck. Trader Joe's is the best!

  • Las Rocas Vinas Viejas - it's a Garnacha, if you like hearty reds. Terlato Angel's Peak Cab is outstanding, Edward Sellers Cuvee de Cinq is a great blend (GSM).

  • I love Strut!  It's canadian, don't know if you can pick it up in the states.  I've been trying as many canadian wines as I can and it's definitely my favorite!
