Clear Fluid leaking- Maybe TMI

So I woke up this morning went through my morning routine, got out of the shower and toweled off. Then I sprung a leak, I had a gush of fluid. It was clear fluid but enough to drip down my legs. I cleaned up and got dressed. About 20 min later I had to change my pants and underwear because I was soaked again. It was clear fluid with no odor (sorry if tmi) Is this anything to be alarmed about?

I called the Dr. and he wants to see me today... but I'm trying not to google too much before hand.

    don't google, just listen to doc.  He didnt send you to L&D, to be on safe side?

    No he is having me meet him at 130 at the hospital in that office... not the usual office I go to...

    I don't know because I have never had my water break, but I would suggest going to L&D to be safe.

    yeah i dont mean to scare you, but i think you just need to call them and demand that you need to be seen.  i wouldnt mess around with this one.

    Personally I would go straight to L&D and call the doc on the way.  I didn't have my water brake but from my understanding it's not always like it looks on the movies and that it can be a trickle.  I really hope that it's not, but I'd go to L&D just in case.  I went to L&D for anything suspicious.... felt a little crazy but you'd rather be safe!  GL!!

    ditto this.  Please go .... I had clear fluid (small leaks....).  I read it can happen during BH.  Well... I was actually in labor.... PTL.  To be safe, I would go in.....  Keep us posted.

    Please go straight to L&D. That is exactly what I experienced when my water broke.

    How's everything going?  I assume you've seen your doctor by now... but anyway, in case it helps:  This happened to me at 22wk, 5d.  Now I'm 25wk, 1d.  My doctor had me come in immediately, and after they confirmed that it was amniotic fluid, they wheeled me over to L&D (MFM attached to hospital).  The first 48 hours were rough as we were waiting to see whether I had an infection that caused the leak.  No signs of an infection developed.  I had two more leaks over the next 10 days.  Right now I'm 12 days leak-free, and if no more problems arise over the weekend they'll consider the leak sealed.  But I've been on hospital bed rest ever since that first day.  

     Let me know if you have any questions about this.  I know it can be scary, but hang in there!!

    Sorry, I just realized my math doesn't add up and I don't want to be called out for that!  First leak was on a Tuesday.  Second leak was Saturday.  Third leak was last Monday.  

     I was having contractions, too, so they put me on mag -- everything was a little fuzzy there for awhile!  

     Good luck!!!  I hope you and your babies are ok.
