I just read an article about taking inspiration from your wedding for baby names on nameberry.  There is a fun Mad Libs-style quiz at the end:  I'll fill in my own answers in another post.

I wore a gown made of silk satin designed by Jim Hjelm to my wedding, which took place in Whitefield, New Hampshire.   I carried a bouquet of roses, kale, and hydrangea.  We danced our first dance to Everything by Michael Buble and went on our honeymoon in (haven't gone yet!  But it will be in Cuenca, Spain).

I guess the useable names in mine would be: Satine, Jim, Rose, Kale, and Michael!

I wore a gown made of organza designed by Jasmin to my wedding, which took place in Portland, Oregon.   I carried a bouquet of white roses and ivy.  We danced our first dance to "I wanna grow old with you" by Adam Sandler and went on our honeymoon in British Columbia.

Hmmmm, don't think there's going to be any Columbia's or Jasmin's running around here any time soon  lol

I have zero recollection of the material of my dress or the flowers, nor did I care much at the time since I learned that my first choice flowers were out of season and would wilt dramatically before I even stepped down the aisle. We ddin't choose our wedding place, my parents did, so I am not attached to it at all.

This all means I can only answer the end part, which would lead me to a Portuguese name and that's what DD has (Amalia, like the singer Amalia Rodrigues).

We danced our first dance to So Nice by Bebel Gilberto and went on our honeymoon to Brazil.

Names: Calla, Lily, Mary, Dave, Lacey, Fancy (Just Kidding! Reba McWntire, anyone? )

Haha- me too! I may or may not secretly have all her cd's on my iTunes, and I watch her show most days while I'm making dinner I always though my hubby hated that show, but I caught him watching it about a month ago...he tried to act like he was just flipping through, but he was totally engrossed until I startled him

It's really funny that you posted this. We've actually considered using Vionnet as a middle name: )

Usable names: Um, Vionnet is the only one I would consider, but I've heard of children named Silk. Geneva and Paris are legitimate place names and both Karla and Bruni are both names, albeit not my style.

I wore a gown made of silk designed by Maggie Sottero to my wedding, which took place in Tampa, Florida.   I carried a bouquet of roses and hydrangea.  We danced our first dance to Then by Brad Paisley and went on our honeymoon in St. Martin, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Haiti.

So Maggie, Rose, Bradley, Paisley, Martin, and Juan. None of which I would actually use, but a fun little game none the less!

Names I could use from there, Emme, Arizona, Rose, Daisy, Day, Lou and Reed.  None that I'd actually use.
