Phantom Smells?

The past two days, I've had the weird sense that I'm smelling cigarette smoke when I breathe through my nose. I don't smoke, my husband doesn't, and no one I even know does so I never really smell it for real. Is this a weird symptom? My sinuses have been acting up so it could be related to that too but just curious if anyone's had any type of phantom smells throughout pregnancy??

A week ago I had the same phantom smell. I thought I was going nuts, but chalked it up to turning on the heater.

A couple of days ago I was smelling cookies. That was much more pleasant.

Are you sure he's not blaming it on the dog? LOL.

On another note, one of my co-workers says she can't wait for me to start smelling electricity and moonbeams lol. I guess her friend smelled that when she was expecting. Maybe that's what you two smell!

Last weekend I was smelling bacon and then a few nights ago I smelled garlic.

I usually do not have a strong sense of smell. But my husband works for a gaming company with casino games so he is in and out of casinos all day long. The other day I was in the living room and kept smelling smoke. Well I finally tracked it down and it was his coat hanging on the back of the bedroom door. I apparently now have a super sense of smell lol.

Haha glad I'm not the only one!! I knew some people had weird tastes in their mouths but a weird smell all the team is freaking me out!!!

My bathroom smelled weird to me and my BF kept saying that he couldn't smell anything wrong. His sister came over and she was able to figure out what it was: vitamins in the medicine cabinet. I had to take out all of the vitamins and pills. The smell would make me gag when I went in there. And there is still an unidentified smell in the house overall that I can't get rid of and I have no idea what is making it. Driving me insane!
