Here is what we like... opinions?

DH and I like normal, traditional names.  We are really struggling with coming up with ideas we can both agree on.  Here are some names of family and friends that we like, but can't use because the are already in use. 

Lucas (DS), Drew, Ryan, Caleb, Nick, Landon, Will, Jacob, Lane, Logan.

Abby, Emily, Hannah, Claire, Leah, Nora, Ella.

We don't love the super-trendy - Aiden, Mason, Sophia, Olivia, etc.  We also don't love unisex names, or names too easily nicknamed.  We want to name the child what we will call him/her.  Middle name is up for grabs, too. 

Last name ends in ****erry.

First of all, we have pretty much the exact same style. I love a lot of the names on your list (Ryan, Caleb, Lucas, Hannah, Abby, etc.), and we have a Logan and Jacob.

I'll throw out some others that are on my list that aren't already on your "can't use list"....

My son's name is Garrett Cole _____. I love the name Garrett. To me it is not overly common, but not so off the wall that you never hear it. And for what it's worth we get lots of compliments on it. Good luck, I know it's tough!
