Do you find that there are so many more unique/creative girls names and that boys names are usually pretty bland? I don't want to name my son Brian, John or Zach. Do you have any creative boy name ideas?
One of my favorite name "genres", if you will, is creative or different but not weird or unheard of. Some of my favorites..
Milo Oliver Simon Abel Dashiell Jasper Felix Luca Foster Silas Julian Atticus Duncan Stellan Beckett Donovan Jude Finnian/Finn Rowan Rhys Asher Lennon Roman Sebastian Theo Sullivan
A good place to start for creative baby names is nameberry.com. They seem to have the edge in that category. GL!
It's funny you mention this, because there is definitely a disparity on the SSA list. For example, if you travel down the list to, say rank #900, the girls names start to get pretty funky, and the boys names are still somewhat "normal." Similarly, the boys name choices seem to be distributed to more of the population, while there seems to be more of a "variety" of girl's names. If this makes sense, numerically more boys were given top 30 names, than girls given top 30 names.
Anyway, I need to know more of your style for boys names before I can suggest anything relevant. Are you looking for something like Alexander, Benjamin, and Christopher? Or something like Ethan, Jackson, and Finn? Something odd, like Basil, Lennon, or Blaise? Or something unisex, like Quinn, Riley, and Reese? What are some names on your list?
If I had to choose, Basil, Lennon and Blaise. It all just seems really peculiar, I guess it's the same qualm I have about clothing. Girls have soooo much to choose from, boys: here son, heres some jeans and a polo.

I have always liked Luca, but everyone I say the name to someone thinks it's a girl name.

My personal opinion is that parents are more afraid of teasing with boys than with girls when it comes to unusal names.
Suggestions - Killian, Roman, Asher, Maximus, Caspar, Vaughn, Alasdair, Pierce, Drake, Evander, Xavier, Wyatt, Cyrus, Elias, Finley, Octavian
This is a great point, I never thought of this.
