My dear friend (who's also a co-worker) gave me several boxes of hand me downs today.  Two boxes of boys clothes (18 mo - 3t) and a HUGE box of maternity clothes!  Super nice boy's clothes from Gap and Old Navy... most in really good shape!  I haven't even gotten far into the maternity box but I'm so excited!!!

Score! I love handmedowns. A friend who had twins this summer gave us tons and tons of newborn stuff and then DHs sister gave us stuff from newborn thru size 12 (no joke) since they are now expecting a boy. And even before all that a neighbor gave us a huge bins of newborn thru 9 month. We're drowning in girl clothes but unfortunately most is the wrong season!

That is great! I got all my maternity clothes from the dr I work for (and she got a lot of stuff that was my 2 OBs clothes, so sometimes I go see them wearing their old shirts and they remember them. Kinda weird lol) but they are all nice clothes.

Yeah... I finally finished going through everything and it was awesome! 

For the kids clothes - everything is so soft when it's been used - it's what I would want to wear!  

And the maternity clothes were in great shape!  Not all my size (nor do I need any professional work pants or collared shirts) but a ton of stuff that I can wear through winter and into spring!

 So thankful!!!

AH I LOVE hand-me-downs!

My sister is tight on cash but wanted to give us a gift, so she gave us a TON of clothes.

She has 2 girls and we're having a boy, but her church does a clothing swap where the moms all swap clothes. Instead of swapping her girls clothes for bigger ones she swapped em for boys ones for us. So sweet.
