Please rec your baby wearing apparatus of choice for 0-3 months. I'm having a hard time choosing. I was thinking moby, but there are so many other options, I don't want to overlook a good one.
I think that the Moby is good for babies when they are young but I feel like the material get stretched out easy and the baby slides. I don't think that my Bjorn works well for young babies because it doesn't hold him tight enough and he tends to lean his head on the clips. I like the Beco and the Ergo the best.

I really like the Sleepy Wrap, it's made of a stretchier fabric than the Moby, so you put it on tighter and then slide the baby in, you don't need to have it adjusted before the baby goes in. I just ordered a ring sling, but have yet to use it, but my sister loves hers. I have a Beco for when DS2 gets bigger - I used that the most with DS1, since it can carry toddlers up to 40 or so pounds. hth
I have the Ergo Carrier with an infant insert for when they are smaller, I love it so does C. Its supportive for him, easy to put on & doesn't kill my back.
I have a moby and love it (so far...) but I really want a ring sling. After trying one on with a doll it just seems so much easier to quickly put on and put baby in.

i love my ergo with the infant insert and so does my daughter. i have been using it since she was 1 day old and it's pretty much the only thing that will calm her down aside from nursing. i also have 2 woven wraps [they take longer to learn than stretchy wraps like the moby but you can use them for years because they won't stretch out] and have been getting better with those.
i also have a babybjorn that was given to us and i haven't used it. it's not as simple as the ergo, especially to adjust the sizing for h and me to both use.

The moby is my sanity savior. I wear her in it all day long. Honestly, I don't think it is hard to figure out at all and the fabric is very durable and only stretches just enough to conform to our bodies. I also have an ergo, but can't figure out how to put it on without help, so its useless to me unless dh is here.
I also have a hotsling b/c it fits in my diaper bag well. The moby is humungo and does not.
One drawback of the moby is that it is very hot on warm days.
I bought an evenflo Snugli the other day and I love it. LO seems pretty secure, and there are tons of pockets to carry things (pacis and such). Its really comfy for me too!
Re: Q for those who use a sling/wrap/carrier
I almost bought a moby, but it scared me. It looked complicated (yes, I know I'm a dork). I bought this one and I can easily put it on by myself.
