We transitioned DS from soy formula to soy milk recently. We did it gradually, but for the past week he has been on 100% soy milk. And for the past 4 days, he's had really loose BM, and lots of dirty diapers each day. (Poor guy!)
Anyway, I've been doing a little internet research, and it seems it might not be due to the soy, but the carrageenan in the Silk brand we've been buying (which was not in the formula, nor the soy yogurt he's been eating with no issues.)
I'm going to try the TJ's brand of soy milk, as I gather it does not contain any carrageenan. But I was just curious if anyone here, or anyone you know is allergic to dairy and sensitive to carrageenan as well? Any tips or advice is most welcome.
TIA.

I agree, it could just be a bug. He seems totally fine otherwise, though, so I'm not sure. Usually a bug comes with a fever, or sniffles, or cough, etc.
Trying the TJ's soy milk couldn't hurt, so I guess we'll start there. Oat milk, rice milk, and hemp milk are on my list of alternates, though.
Thanks for chiming in!
Hmmm... I've never heard of anything like that.
Good luck! I hope he feels better soon and you get it all sorted out quickly.
