anyone use KY lube and get pregnant

hello and congratulations to all you preggos...I've been TTC since August and no luck . Just put 2 and 2 together and read up on the effects of KY on sperm, although too late this cylce to do anything about it. I want to stay hopeful during my 2ww, so wanting feedback on whether any of you ladies became pregnant despite using KY

I wouldn't use KY to try and get pregnant. Try something else like pre-seed if you need the lubrication, or try regular Mucinex to help with CM.

I became pregnant while using it. I wasn't aware of its effect on sperm either.

I am 5 1/2 weeks along and got pregnant last month while using Astroglide, which I think is pretty much the same thing as KY. I don't make a lot of natural moisture, so lube is a nightstand staple. We use it every time and I still conceived. We'd been trying for 6 months. I don't know if it impacts sperm, but DH's little swimmers got through just fine and did their job. Good luck to you!

Most Lubes can kill sperm.  If you want to use a lube, go with a sperm-friendly one, like pre-seed.

Also, two months of TTC is not long.  It can take a normal couple a year to get pregnant.

I got pregnant with #1 using KY, and #2 using KY.  We got pregnant on the first try with #1, and on our fourth cycle with #2.  But...truth be told, I was beginning to think we should start using preseed...then I POAS and was KU, so no need to consider it further.

I used a silicon based lube called ID Millennium. It is fantastic stuff! Bought it at a sex toy party! I couldn't find anything on the web either positive or negative on it's effect on sperm; however, it must not have effected them that bad, because we got PG!

thanks to all you ladies my hope has been restored! Although if I end up not pg this cycle  i will invest in preseed next month.

I recommend pre-seed for anyone ttc. I like it a lot better than KY and will continue to use it even when not ttc.
