Don't have time for work!

I am an RN and work 3 nights a week. Cooper has PT twice a week and OT once a week. Between that and pedi appts, I don't have time to go to work! There are not enough hours in the day. We have absolutely no food in our house, but who has time to go to the grocery store? LO has a busier schedule than I do :-).

The only way we could manage was to have DH become a SAHD. Even then it was really hard. Between working full time and pumping 24/7, those 2 things alone pretty much tapped me, never mind all the other normal stuff and apts like you say. It does get better though, thank heavens!

I totally forgot about the pumping 24/7. There's that too! Thank goodness I work 3-12 hour shifts and not 5 days a week. I hope it starts to get better soon. I don't think I'm in a good routine yet, so maybe we will get there.

I know what you mean.  My baby is still in the nicu but I had to withdraw from school.  I was working on a nursing degree.   I'm not sure if/when I'll get back.  By the time I get my son home I know I'll want to spend some time with him and my house is a MESS!!!!

I hear you. For the first time since my LO has been home, things have just started to slow down.  I had to quit work because he had doctors appointments almost every single day.  Now, we only have about 2-3 a week.
