Update: Not dying

No hemorrhage, aneurysm, west nile, swine flu or spinal meningitis. It wasn't even the flu? It seems I have a plain old infection - my neck pain was a swollen lynph node (in the back, go figure), I have an infection in my throat (even though my throat doesn't hurt) and a inflamed ear canal. I got Z-pak so I should be done with antibiotics after my dose on Saturday. I hope this doesn't interfere with my cycle....

    That doesn't sound fun. Hope the z pack does the trick and there is no cycle interference.

    I'm very happy you're not dying. I also hope your lymph node starts behaving soon! I have no idea if azithromycin affects your cycle, but here's hoping it doesn't!

    TTC #2, Operative hysteroscopy March 2011; IVF #1 long lupron protocol April 2011-cancelled due to poor response; IVF #2 flare protocol May 2011=hospitalization due to abdominal hemorrhage during ER and no fert due to MFI issues. Moving onto international adoption from Moldova January 2013!

    So glad you're not dying and hope the antibiotics do the trick.

    My first IVF DH and I both had to be on antibiotics for a week and I started them with BCP... so hopefully you're in the clear :)

    You take it for 5 days, but it continues to work in your body for 30 or so days.  It's amazing.

    11/10: IUI #1 =100mg Clomid CD4-8 + pregnyl trigger + IUI = chemical pregnancy
    1/11: IUI #2 = 5mg Femara + trigger + IUI = BFN
    2/11: IUI #3 = injectibles + trigger + IUI = BFN
    IVF #1 April 2011 ER 4/23 w/16 eggs retrieved, 14 mature, 11 fert., 4 blasts to freeze, 5dt of 2 blasts on 4/28, beta #1 5/7 = 243... beta #2 5/9 = 491....beta #3 5/11 = 1113!!

    Glad you are not dying. I too had a health issue some months ago...I too thought OMG I'm dying...lord take me now! However I've clearly made a miraculous recovery....well I feel better.

    As I was lying in the hospital the only thing on my mind was...how will this effect my schedule and TTC.....damn TTC.

    TTC since 2009 very frustrated 42yr and DH 40

    5 cycles of Clomid with satisfactory response=BFN's
    Fibroid removal Nov2010
    IUI Clomid #1 Feb 2011...BFN..damn it!
    IUI Inject's #2 Apr 2011...CANCELLED...low estradiol
    IUI Inject's #3 June 2011...BFN
    IUI Inject's #4 Sept2011...BFFN
    Lap Dec 2011...severe endo..cyst removed..some remains...
    IVF#1 Apr 2012 ....cancelled due to over suppression
    IVF#2 July 2012....6 follies...only 1 retrieved....BFFN
    surgery suggested to move ovary to an better placement but....we moved two time zones away and are financially and emotionally empty
