Tell me about your Sleep Easy Solution experiences please!!

I have the book and the DVD and planning to start my 6 month old this weekend. He is up every couple hours to eat at night, has to be nursed or rocked to sleep for every nap and bed - we have created a monster and are sooooo exhausted.

If you did Sleep Easy Solution did you like it? Was it really only 3 days of hell? 

Would LOVE to hear your experiences - I need some hope here! Would also love to hear if it didn't work for you, but hoping I get more of the "it was amazing, best thing we ever did" stories

We used it with DS #1 at 6 months when he was waking up every 2 hours needing to be rocked for 30+ minutes to go back to sleep and taking FOREVER to go down at night.

The first night it took 40 minutes and then he slept 7 straight hours (he had never done that before).  He was taking a bottle at 3 am and I felt he still needed it since he was taking the whole bottle and just seemed hungry. He woke at 3 for the bottle and went back to sleep pretty easily (maybe 5 min of fussing).  He woke back up at 5 am and cried for probably 30 minutes before he went back down and slept until 7 am. 

Night 2 - probably 10-15 minutes of crying to go down and another 10-15 after the bottle.

Night 3 - no crying at all.  Slept 7 pm - 7 am with a bottle at 3 am (which he went right back to sleep after),

I never found CIO to work for naps though.  I had to rock him for all his naps until he was 14 months and he's never been a long napper.

We used the tips from the book to wean frim the night feeding at 10 months.  The first night he got no bottle, he cried for maybe 5-10 minutes but that was it.  She's been STTN 11-12 hours a night since then.
