Do you make your own mulled wine or do you buy the spices or a bottled one?

My sister sent me some spices that I use but I'm not sure what I'll do once I've used them all :)  (they're basically like a tea bag of the spices that you steep in a bottle of wine). 

I've found some bottled Glueh Wein line I like but can only find them right around Christmas.

  • I actually got a recipe from a local chef - I will C&P:

    2 quarts Dry Red Wine

    1.5 cups sugar

    1/2 tsp cloves

    2 Cinnamon Sticks

    The peel of one Orange

    In a pot combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and allow to steep for 20 minutes. Serve hot with a cinnamon stick or slice of orange peel.
