Re: Peeling nipple?

  • Mine are too...it is normal, but annoying.  I have been using cocoa butter lotion on them.  It hasn't stopped the peeling but it helps with the itch.  Good Luck!

  • I've had cracking nipples, not peeling, but it's in the same ballpark.  My doctor checked it out, said it's normal and recommended lanolin.  That helped a lot.

  • I agree with the pp who recommended lanolin. Lanisoh makes it and you can find it with breastfeeding supplies.

  • For several weeks my one of my nipples was really itchy. Peely and cracking. It still is a bit . The itching got so bad I was so miserable. I got that Lansinoh cream which helped a bit. I would try that...now I hardly have a problem.
