Peeling nipple?

Hi ladies-I am almost 10 weeks and my nipple is peeling and is really itchy...is this normal??  What can I do to stop it from happening?  TIA

    Mine are too...it is normal, but annoying.  I have been using cocoa butter lotion on them.  It hasn't stopped the peeling but it helps with the itch.  Good Luck!

    I've had cracking nipples, not peeling, but it's in the same ballpark.  My doctor checked it out, said it's normal and recommended lanolin.  That helped a lot.

    I agree with the pp who recommended lanolin. Lanisoh makes it and you can find it with breastfeeding supplies.

    For several weeks my one of my nipples was really itchy. Peely and cracking. It still is a bit . The itching got so bad I was so miserable. I got that Lansinoh cream which helped a bit. I would try that...now I hardly have a problem.
