Detergent ?'s

Has anyone used the detergent put out by Bumgenius? I have the option to add it to my registry but since I plan to have a mix of brands, I wasn't sure if that was a good idea. It seems like each brand has there own recommendations for washing/detergents and they are all different. I haven't seen any of the suggested detergents in my local stores. I know there is a recipe for detergent, but does it work for any and all cd's? Would you use the same washing cycle for prefolds as you would AIO's? Thanks.

i have not used the bumgenius but we use charlie's soap and wash all our diapers and cloth wipes together. currently, we're using a mix of bumgenius AIOs and pockets, prefolds, thirsties covers, fleece covers, mother-ease sandy's fitteds, and one dream-eze AIO.

we wash all of that together with flannel wipes and the pail liner and it has worked great so far. no smell and everything comes out clean. we use charlie's for our clothing, too, and love it.
