My due date never changed, but I have lots of friends who has theirs changed. My advice is not to putt too much stock into the actual date, it will just frustrate you toward the end. Just know you are due sometime in the month of 'X' You'll drive yourself crazy otherwise. Babies rarely come on their actual due date.
Yes, at 28 (or so) weeks you start to go more. You'll go every other week from then until 36/37 weeks when you'll start going in every week.

My due date was reluctantly changed by our midwife once (from 12/31/10 to 12/25/10). The ultrasounds all put Sofia into that earlier range so she agreed to adjust the documentation. It's our first (and only), so, with my luch she will be late....
I just went to my last every four week appointment yesterday. We go every two weeks now.
I still debate the due date with the doc, but I really don't care what date they gave, the baby will come when its good and ready. She said if I am 7 days late, they will induce, but I'll see how uncomfortable I am at that point. I'm hoping to be 9-14 days later than their due date.
I had a conflicting schedule with my surgery and those appts, so my every two weeks starts at almost 31 weeks, and then at 35, I'll go every week.
I actually told my doctor what my EDD was. haha - they wanted to go off a 28 day cycle & I chart so I knew when I ovulated. After the first u/s they agreed with me and it's stayed the same ever since. I have my last monthly appointment at 27w5d and then start every three weeks, two weeks, one week as I get closer.
I think I'm with one of the only practices that does three weeks!
Originally my due date was April 16th. After my first dr appt and ultrasound, they changed it to April 22. Then, at the NT scan it again got moved back up to April 17.
Re: Did your due date ever change?
My due date didnt change, it is just an estimate based on your last menstural period and the baby's size at the ultrasound. But the sooner the better
I think that it was around 28 weeks that we started to go every two weeks.
Mommy's little helper
With my DS, it was changed to three days later...and then he came nearly two weeks early. With this baby, it's only been moved back a day.
And yes around 28 weeks (or so), I started having to go to the OB more often.

My due date never changed, but its not uncommon for the docs to change it based on your u/s.
Yes, after 28 weeks you go to the OB every 2 weeks. Starting at 36 weeks you go every week until you deliver.

My absolutely changed... It was originally March 1.... then they said it was probably more like February 26... and then I had the baby on February 14.
A due date is basically the one day you will NOT have your baby so feel free to make plans on whatever day the dr expects you to go into labor
