Re: B/G Twin Mamas......

  • Yes, but I don't think it has anything to do with gender at this point.  I think it's just their personalities.

  • For us, it's our boy that is more mellow.  Our girl is definitely more high maintenance, although our son can be a whiner, while our girl is a screamer!!  lol

  • Yes, my daughter is beyond low maintenance.  My son is pretty high maintenance at this point, but cute :)
  • Yes. Our boy is extremely laid back and our girl is much more demanding.

  • In the beginning/newborn phase, DS was definitely the easier and much more mellow baby.  Now that they're both mobile and almost one, I've noticed that DD has mellowed out and DS is a little more complicated. (He just can't sit still and gets into everything.)  I don't know if it's gender or temperament, but I'm sure they'll keep switching it up to keep us on our toes for the next 17+ years.

ETA: DS1 was seriously the easiest baby/newborn ever. So in our experience, our boys have been easier in the beginning.

  • My son has always been more high strung than my daughter.  From the minute they were born!  He was also smaller and had digestive issues, which I think fed into his crankiness as an infant.  Now he's such a sweet boy, but definitely knows what he wants and isn't afraid to cause a ruckus to get it!  My daughter has always been very chill... from day one.

same with my babies as well. My Dad calls her "Firecracker"

  • for us, its my DD.  she is SUCH a little princess. my goodness, it needs to be her way STAT.

my son is so chill...just goes with the flow...

i was wondering if it was a gender thing (because I, too, am a princess and my DH is chill like our son).

    but i guess not!

  • Yeah, my DD is definitely more of a drama queen than DS. We joke that just like you, our DD is a little diva (like me) and DS is calm, cool & collected (like DH). We just assumed they got our personalities Stick out tongue
