I am looking for some photographer recs for newborn photos.  Amy at Pure Amour is already booked   I'm going to look at Emily Dowd also, just wondering if there's any other recommendations!

We used Amanda Williams, but since you are so close she might be booked as well

Did you ask Amy for any recs? I think she mentioned that she has someone that she recommends as a back up sometimes.

Check out Melanie Disbrow . She is out of Grand Rapids but she will travel and she is AMAZING. I am obsessed with my newborn pics.

I have also heard good things about Up the Hill Photography (https://www.upthehillphotography.com/) I have friends that use them and their pictures are always great!

If Emily doesn't work out, try calling Robert Bruce.  He did my first son's newborn shoot.  I didn't realize how far in advance photographers booked, especially for a weekday session, so I didn't call until after he was born.  Robert was nice enough to come in on his day off just to do the shoot.  I have a couple of the pictures in my bio

Thank you ladies!  I have been procrastinating on this horribly but not I think they would make good Christmas gifts for the grandparents and of course most people are already booked!
