Anyone else on Celexa?

What are your thoughts? I'm LOVING it, it's working SOOOO well!!! I highly recommend it!!! It just gives me the ability to take a step back and decide if things are worth yelling/crying/fighting over, and most aren't....Yay!

Hi there, and thank you for posting this.    I am lurking from the saif board but going through anxiety after multiple failed attempts for number 2.    

I am considering switching since my current medication (lexapro) is not working great after 6 years.  

How soon did you notice an improvement?   What dose are you on?   Did you try anything else prior to celexa?  

Do you have any side effects from it, such as weight gain etc

I am on Celexa (have been for about 4 weeks) and have noticed some improvement. I'm on 60 mg/day (in the morning). I have tried Wellbutrin, Zoloft, Anafranil, Abilify, Respiridone and Seroquel. Seems to be working (so far) and had infrequent nausea in the beginning, now I don't have any side effects. Not sure about weight gain - gained about 15 lbs on Anafranil and have noticed a few pounds lost since switching to Celexa. GL to you!

I am also lurking as well. Celexa was proscribed to me for my anxiety, and I wasn't exactly allergic to it, but had just about every single symptom listed on that piece of paper that comes with your perscription! I'm glad its working for you, because it was so evil to me! Zoloft was my savior though.
