I just got one in yesterday. It hasn't been washed yet, but it just looks so cheap and not soft at all. Initial impression = not good.

I agree that it doesn't look sturdy compared to others but I have had mine a few weeks and I do actually like them! They elastic isn't as tight so he never gets red marks from them and I haven't had a single leak even with naps. I am worried that the elastic won't last that long though.

The cover is great.....i have yet to have a leak.  The inserts may not be as soft as a fitted but the absorbancy is good.

Guess ya shouldn't judge a diaper by it's cover eh? It's in the wash right now, I'll test it out later.

I thought the same exact thing when I got ours.  I was disappointed and even considered returning it.  So glad I kept it though because we really like them now (and I have since bought a few more covers and inserts).

we use organic flips.  They have been great...no leaks and they aren't too tight on our little man's legs.

I use the organic flips too.  Totally soft now (especially when I dry them in the dryer...not as much when I line dry them...but that's the nature of that).  We've had them for 8+ months and the elastic is still good.  I really like them.
