I went to a benefit tonight for my friend who has a spinal cord injury and I won two of the raffle prizes.  One is a $25 gift card to a new BYO in my neighborhood.  The other was a "date night" gift basket with a bottle of wine, $50 gift cards to Cheesecake Factory and $25 to the movies.   It was donated by a matchmaker so there was also mouthwash, candles, and the business card for the matchmaker.  I'll have to re-donate that to someone else  :)  DH also won a cool Flyers game package from the silent auction so maybe I'll try to get a date with one of the hockey players instead...

    Congrats, sounds like some great prizes. I never win that type of stuff, but my dh is usually pretty lucky with winning prizes.

    I usually never win either. We have been going to this benefit for years and I think this was the first thing I have ever won. The important thing is the Foundation but I'm pretty excitef for a night (or two) out. We could really use it.
