? about bamboo insert that came w/swaddlebee diaper

So I ordered one off of babysteals the other day.  The diaper came yesterday.  Came with 2 inserts, the bamboo one has snaps on it.  What are the snaps for?  To change the size?  Maybe I'm stupid but I just don't really see the point to them.  Am I missing something?  (I'm new to pockets).  

I was thinking of maybe trying this diaper ON tonight with both inserts ... think it will be enough?

    Yup, to customize the size of the insert.  We get by with the insert and doubler, but I don't think we have a super pee-er.
