White Noise Machine

I have 6 week old twins and a 2 1/2 year old daughter. I know she is having some broken sleep in the night withe the noise of new twins, night feedings etc.

I do have a noise machine in the nursery with the twins. I am thinking about also putting one in my daughter's room. I wondered if "introducing" a machine at this point (she has never had one) would be a problem? Would it be more of a bother to her? Anyone have this experience?

you could just try it and see how it goes. i use one when the kids are napping. thankfully, both sleep pretty well in the night. i would keep it at a lower volume to start and see how she takes it. also, once the twins wake, you could go into your DD room's and turn it up a notch if that will help.

DS just has a humidifier in his room that is his "white noise" He had no issues with it

I doubt that white noise would bother her.

DD has a humidifier in her room. It really helps to drown out noise. She's always had it though. Couldn't hurt to try something with your dd. You can always take it out if it does bother her.

We got one for Jackson at about a year, his room is directly next to ours, we share a wall and my husband does not understand the word quiet. He stomps around, close's doors loudly, really doesn't mean to do this but used to wake up J a lot! I got this and he now rarely wakes up. The nice thing about this one is the volume control, I think a lot of them have that.
