I wanted to tell you that I responded (way late) to your post below about LO not waking to eat.
My response was different from the other girls. Despite the instruction to wake every 4 at night, 3 during the day, we didn't. He was sooo wayyy to tired to eat and if we woke him up, it made it so much worse.
He gained slowly that way, but he gained, and got the sleep he needed and got stronger. Run it by your pedi, but when we told him what was going on, he said we could try not waking (letting him get the rest he needed so he had any energy to eat) and see how he did, and he did OK.
