Hello! I will be moving to SA in January and would like recommendations on apartments near Ft Sam, in a decent neighborhood & commute!

Hi!  My DH works at Fort Sam and we live near Alamo Heights.  I will PM you the name of the complex were we live, we actually live in a townhouse.  There are a few other complexes near us, it is a safe area near lots of shopping, restaurants, parks, and a Little Gym.    It takes my husband about 15 minutes to get to the base with traffic/lights... There are a lot of great family friendly areas around here.

Debdeb can you PM me the name too. H works at fort sam, and depending on his contract (if it gets renewed) we'll most likely try to move to Alamo heights, we're off bulverde and 1604 right now, and our neighborhood is awesome, but traffic can suck, as you probably know. Thanks!
