Is it possible the BCP's are already affecting me??

I have always been very sensitve to bcp, which is why I've never taken them for long periods of time.  I get very depressed, moody, and just plain crazy on them.  So, I just took my first one last night, and I've been crying all morning and I've already cussed out my mom this morning.  I don't know if the bcp could be affecting me just from one pill or if this is just me.  I really hate this person I have become.

lots of (((hugs)))  I don't know whether they can affect you that quickly or not, I do know when I took them at the beginnig of my IVF cycle I was a changed person within a couple days........I hope you feel better hun.

I get wicked depressed on bcp's and noticed in within a few days. A day may be a little early, but between the hormone jolt and the mental WTF I can see where it would come from.

Yuck...I'm so sorry!

All I know is that starting from the first pill, I had m/s strength nausea for several days straight before my body got used to the hormones (& when I learned to take it with a little food).  So maybe what you're feeling is from the one pill?  (Nothing scientific to back this up, though.)

I'd believe it.  I hate what BCP do to me & haven't taken them in about 4 years.  I never intend to again unless I'm put on them for cysts/fertility treatment.  Hopfully you'll adjust quickly & not be on them too long!!

PS: Clomid's having the same effect on me.  Sucks bigtime.

It could be from today.  I hate BCP, they have the same effect on me!

I don't know.  I hate BCP only taken them twice for a short time period ever.  I am sorry you have to do this.
