we find out on december 1st what we are having..but my husband refuses to look at any names unless i read them to him. he is dying for a girl, and i want a little boy. of course, as long as it's healthy, that's truly all that matters, but you know how it goes..

 

we have middle names for both but need help for first names, something unique and fun..help!!

Girl - middle name is "Claire"

Boy - middle name is "Alan"

i like that! i thik i brought that one up, but it was a no go on him..he said that he wants me to pick, because it has to "KNOW" it's the right name if it's mom says it lol..he likes Cadence Claire..also he won't think about boy names because he doesn't want to think that it could be a boy..lol

Well, if i would have told her how we are spelling it someone would have come a long and commented about it and then someone else, and so forth. Then her post would not be about her topic anymore, it would just be about MY spelling choice for my daughters name.

I wouldn't want to steal the "spotlight". LOL jk.

I'm not sure that either of these are unique or fun, but I really love the way the names Elizabeth and Lauren sound as first names for Claire.

we want the first names to be unique and fun..Claire is his sister's middle name and Alan is my brother's middle name..

I also like Lillian Claire NN Lilly. It was a choice we had thought about previous to finding out we were preg but before we came up preg my cousin named his little girl that. (its a family name, after my great grandma Lillian who passed away a few years back)

i really like Lillian too. My husband tends to lean more towards the names that are already nicknames..i.e. Lily..while i want Lillian..and have her nickname be Lily..he can be so stubborn..but that's definitely going on our list..thanks!

My great grandma was named just Lillie (I prefer the Lily spelling). I think it's completely fine as a stand alone name.
