acid reflux
Hendrix has acid reflux- and just got over thrush...in the past 3 days his spitups, reflux, burps, pain has gotten worse. He's been crying alot more and not sleeping. He'll go down for 20 or 30 mins but then he's up. He's on prevacid and it seemed to be working. The dr says he's taking all he can and that he may still have thrush in bk of his throat-so we're going in tomorrow... I just bought a boppy to help him sit up but I am wondering if anyone has any other suggestions to help my LO... please!!?

Jax has reflux too...still. And also had thrush at one point, but not too bad thankfully. He was on zantac for a while and now he is on prevacid and it seems to be working for the most part. While he was little though, we had to have him elevated all the time. We elevated one side of his crib and that seemed to really help for sleeping.
Just lower one side of the mattress and not the other, no need to buy any wedges or anything.
Our son was just diagnosed with reflux. He was on zantac, but now he is on Axid. He has only been on Axid a few days but I think I see an improvement (here's hoping!). We have his crib elevated (don't bother buying a wedge, we just used towels under the mattress). He has also spent many a night in his bouncer, since it is pretty elevated.
GL! Reflux is the worst!
