As I await trial for murder!
Our downstairs neighbors have a 19yr old son who does nothing (no work or school). This week he has decided he wants to learn to play the guitar....fine and dandy but he bought an amp & speakers for the damn thing!! Now I have botched stairway to heaven filling mr house at random hours! And it is LOUD!
he just woke up DD who I had finally gotten down for a nap (second day in a row!). We've tried banging on his door (he won't answer) and stomping on the floor....but he is an asshat who could care less! Grrrrr.....
we've contacted the HOA but they can't really reach them (they do not have email and only the youngest daughter knows English). They've been foreclosed on but it takes about a year for the banks to actually evict due to back-up.
I'm about ready to break their window, climb in there, and take the guitar to his head! (thus isn't the only issue we've had with them! They also let their dog out on the back porch and it poops/pees in front if our back door...how nasty is that?!?!). 1HT

omg that is awful!!!!!!!!! i hope he gets a new hobby soon
can you use white noise in your LO's room?? we just downloaded a 99 cent thing from itunes and play it on speakers in DD's room (we have neighbors who liked late-night pool parties all summer)
Call the cops, and ask to be transferred to the nearest cop to your house. Then report them.
ETA: Or if he has a specific time that he plays every day, wait until about 20 min before he's going to start, then call and complain. That way, he's in full force when they get there.
