middle names that go with Samuel??

My husband and I both like Samuel (we'd probably call him Sam), but we can't come up with anything that sounds good as a middle name.   The only one we have so far is Samuel Joseph. 

1) any other middle names that you think go well?

2) do you like Samuel Joseph?

Anything "classic" would probably be just fine.  We searched through a list of Catholic Saints names and came up with all kinds of interesting, underused and non-weird names.

As for Samuel... How about Samuel Charles or Samuel Henry.  Biased, of course!

I love the name Samuel, it's one of my top boy choices. If we used it our middle name ideas are David and Warren.

ETA: Yes, I think it sounds great with Joseph. Actually, I could put Joseph on our list too since that is DH's middle name.

I like Samuel Jason.

(Actually that was my cat's name when I was 12 because I liked it so much. And to be totally honest his name was Samuel Jaason because some actor at the time had the name Jaason and it became a joke to elongate the 'a' sound. Samuel Jaaaaaason.)

Anyway, my nephew is Samuel Henry and is often called Sam Henry. I like that too.
