My first dose I took last night. I ended up being wide awake and couldn't fall asleep until 3am I'm not sure if it was from the zoloft or the other issues I have going on with some of my extended family members that made me stay awake. However, it's different for everyone. Someone I know took it and she said it made her extremely tired.

I've been on it for about a month now. No issues from it and it's working very well for me. I haven't had a crying fit since a week after I started it (I know it takes some time to work). I'm also less likely to get angry, which is another problem I was having. I still get irritated but quite as much. DH is surprised how much patience I have now. I'm on 50 mg.
I like it and think it's working very well for me (I'm on 100mg), but when I first starting taking it I was pretty restless and had a hard time sleeping, even taking it in the morning I would be awake until midnight/1am. That's gotten better though and I have no other complaints
It's working well for me. I've been on 100 mg since spring (I went up from 25 mg to 100 mg over about 6 weeks). I had increased anxiety the first week or so and felt a little weird/off every time I upped a dose, but it was worth going through the adjustment.
I've gained weight since starting (not sure how much of that is the zoloft, though) and I still get night sweats quite a bit. For a while, I had pretty bad insomnia but that has gone away.
No drug is perfect, but I consider the side effects pretty minimal compared to how much better I'm feeling.
Don't get discouraged if it takes a while, though. It often takes a month or more and a higher dosage to really notice a significant difference.
I just started taking it yesterday, and I was wondering if it was keeping me awake. I crashed last night because of the sheer exhaustion, but I couldn't take some much needed naps this afternoon.
Is it worth it? To feel better even if you can't sleep? It seems like sleep deprivation would be a mental health issue too, right?

I love it.
I feel more awake on it than I did on Celexa & it hasn't altered my sex drive or appetite like Celexa did.
