Tell me your household favorites. I know we've discussed this before, but I'm trying to make a Christmas list and I'm too lazy to go digging for a post.
Thanks!!!!

Honestly, we don't really have any big, popular books. One of her favorites is the big "My First Words" book. And she loves this itty, bitty (I'm talking 3x3 inch) book on shapes. Other than that, she just loves anything with animals. That is her main criteria. :-)
Here are some of E's favorites...book and authors:
Pinkalicious (we read it nightly and a new Silverlicious is coming out!)
Anything by Anne Rockwell (At the Supermarket is a fav)
All the If you give a books by Laura Numeroff
How do Dinosaurs books by Jane Yolen
On the Night you Were Born
She loves all of First Look and Find Books...especially the one with Abby's Fairytales.
She also loves and has several of these books...they are great because they are short and she can learn them quickly and loves to sit and "read" them by herself!
- Any and all Curious George books (she loves to point out George)
- Peek a Who?
- Picture Atlas from IKEA (I wish I could find it online....it's HUGE and she loves to spread it out on the floor and point out all of the animals. It's adorable)
She likes all the super popular books (Brown Bear, Hungry Caterpillar, Goodnight Moon, etc)...
Her absolute FAVORITE book is Monster at the End of this Book. It's a must have. Really, everyone should have it. Paige loves it, and I don't mind reading it because she has such funny reactions.
She also loves the books by Sara Gillingham (In My Den, In My Tree, In My Nest, In My Flower). They have a little finger puppet (thought the back of the book), and it makes it really fun to read. They're super short though.
Lastly, she also really loves books by Cyndy Szekeres (Hide and Seek Duck is her favorite). They are bigger than a standard board book, but the pages are nice and thick - thicker than a paper book (so she can't rip them), but not as thick as a board book (so she doesn't want to chew on them). They actually tell a story (a short one), which I like, since many kids books don't. LOVE.
I noticed that all of the books I linked above are participating in Amazon's 4-for-3 promo right now (4th book is free), and it's pretty easy to hit $25 for free shipping.

Tyson loves this one too! It's so cute when he says "Shhhh"
Oh yeah, also anything by Dr. Seuss....esp. Fox in Sox. It's a really great tongue twister book, and it gets laughs all the time. (This was also my favorite book as a kid and loved hearing my dad struggle with the tongue twisters, lol.)

Paige also says "Shhh!" when I turn to that page.
Admittedly, I read the book like a crazy lady ("YOU TURNED ANOTHER PAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!"), but she absolutely loves it. She can be in the worst mood over, but an overly animated reading of this book will completely turn it around.

It's a requirement to read that book in an overly animated way. That's what makes it so much fun!
Re: Book help for LO please
Rowan's really picky, these are the only books he likes:
-My First Words and Animals by Roger Priddy (Bright Baby books)
-I Love You Through and Through and How Do I Love You?
-Richard Scarry's Cars and Trucks from A to Z
-Where is Baby's Belly Button?
-Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You?
I myself really really love "Everywhere Babies", we have the board book but there's a regular hardcover option too, I love the illustrations.
Is Your Mama a Llama?
Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do you See?
Baby Bear, Baby Bear, What Do you See?
Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You?
Dr. Seuss's ABC

Oh, and Baby's First 100 Words
