37 week appt update

We had our 37 week appt today w/ a growth ultrasound.  Ryan is measuring 7 lbs 8 oz today (+/- 1 lb) so he's definitely a good size baby. 

 And...he's breach!  He could very well turn between now and my due date but if not I would have ended up w/ another C-section...so in a weird sick way, I hope he stays breach to make me feel like this is DEFINITELY the right (and only) choice for him

He has some hair - not sure how much but we saw it, and he was playing with his feet during the ultrasound.

I can say though, that carrying a breach baby (I have actually suspected this for a few weeks now since he just felt different than Avery did) is very uncomfortable.  I get kicked in the side and I will often feel like my lungs are collapsing from the pressure up top.

I know exactly how you feel. Miller was breach the whole time. His substantial size made breathing extremely difficult.

Yay for a healthy baby!  Sounds like Ryan made the decision for you though.   I hope he drops a bit really soon so that your lungs get some relief.

So glad for a healthy baby boy! Nice that he decided to make that decision for you. What a sweet boy. LOL.

He will be here soon!! Can't wait to meet him!!

What a good baby boy, already backing up his Mom's decision! That is so sweet that you saw him playing with his feet. I hope that he moves a little further South soon so you can breath. You have like a week and a half right? So exciting!!!

Yay for a healthy little Ryan!  That's adorable that he was playing with his feet.   Can't wait to "meet" him in a couple of weeks

I have a ? ..you mentioned c-section again...

will AL allow you to have a V-birth after a c- section?

I only ask because baby #3 was an emergency csection(because he was breach and didnt have enough fluid) and I was told that if i were to get prego again i would have to have a csection (los angeles county law)....obviously Im no longer in Los Angeles, but I would love to have a V-birth and not a csection...i just didnt feel i had the same bonding with the csection.

Yay glad to hear all is going well and that he helped to make you feel better about your decision.  I hope he gives you some relief soon on the breathing...a friend of mine had both of her babies be breach and I remember her saying how tough it was to breathe.  Not too much longer now
