DS game for a six year old?

My nephew is turning 6 this weekend and getting a DS from his parents.  I'd like to get him a game but don't know what's "hot" right now.  Any recs?  TIA!

My kid used to play Mario Kart all the time.  Just make sure you get a game rated E or else it will be too hard for him.
