I know this sounds like a stupid question, but do you change them on the floor? Where do you stash wipes and diapers? Allie is outgrowing her table and I'm thinking of replacing it with a bookshelf.

We keep DD's diapers and wipes in a drawer of her dresser and change her on the floor or on her bed (floor bed). We've been doing it that way for months because she didn't care for the changing table.
I have no idea...I don't want to do it on the floor since it will kill my back. I think we'll just use the changing table as long as possible. I'll just have him bend his legs so they're not hanging off.
I guess we'll have to use the floor and I'll have to sit on DS to keep him from running away:) DS is tall for his age and he still fits on the changing table fine. I plan to use it for as long as possible.
I still use ours for every diaper change (changing pad on top of her dresser, not an actual changing table). If I change her anywhere else it's a huge struggle, but she lays nicely for me on her changing table.
Ive just been using the bed. I'll put an old receiving blanket down, with everything I need laid out on it, the diapers, wipes, cream, powder, etc and then at night after his last change I just put it all back into his cubby thing.
Ava's legs hang off and we still use the changing table...they fight so hard I can't imagine doing it anywhere else...funny they lay so nice for the dc lady...
By "outgrow", do you mean her legs hang off? DD's legs hang off, but I don't really consider it a problem. We still use ours, because if I change her on the floor, i have to like practically sit on her to keep her from rolling away. She lays much more calmly when she's on the changing table.
Re: What do you do when they outgrow the changing table?
We use the floor. We have a little basket that we keep diapers, wipes and other odds and ins. I have used our changing table 5 times max.

If I can get her potty trained before she's 1 you'll all buy my book.
