split placenta anyone?

just heard about it yesterday at my 28 weeks ultrasound...anyone else have it?  was too dumb-founded to ask my dr. any questions at the time

 

what do you ladies know about it?

    not sure if it is the same thing but at 15 weeks, my husbands ex wife had her placenta tear away!?! she was put on COMPLETE bed rest and not able to move very much..... !?!monitored plenty. twice a week sonograms i think..
