  • That's a bunch of BS in my opinion.

  • I certainly hope so. I have the fussiest baby on the planet! (just kidding...but not really)

  • I agree w/ the BS comment.

"When the children were 8 to 11 years old, they were again assessed by their mothers, this time for behavior and mood problems." Ha My LO is only 16 mo and I can't tell you how fussy she was when she was 1 month. I know I was sore and sleep deprived. Just do what you can to give the baby attention and love, that is all you can do. I hope the colic passes and you and the baby get some peace.

  • I think that article is full of crap.  Talk about adding more guilt to the moms that had a hard time with newborns (I was one of them---I thoroughly didn't enjoy the newborn stage AT all), but now DD is THE easiest/happiest child, especially compared to some other kids her age (none on the board, lol....other friends from playgroup/music class, etc...).

I agree, total BS.   This.  My LO is 12 months and yeah I don't remember how fussy she was or wasn't at 1 month.  I think sleep deprivation at that time can make things seem magnified.

I hope the colic passes soon, and y'all get some peace.
