1st Trimester

the left side of my body is falling apart.

So in addition to the ongoing nagging feeling that I want to vomit but can't, since yesterday I've developed a few new symptoms that are driving me nuts...I can't tell if they are due to the pregnancy or if it's just me.

My left eyeball feels strange, a little dry with a little pressure.. and my left nostril feels the same way.  Dry with pressure... and I have a headache.  I've never had sinus headaches before but I'm wondering is what they feel like?

I've also had a little throbbing/twinge of pain in my left thigh which makes me worry because I used to have a DVT and was on blood thinners.  I'm seeing the Ob gyn tomorrow and getting my Rx for Lovenox again so I'll bring it up to  her.  I'm worried that everything is related to another clot.  I tend to overthink things and freak myself out like the clot developed in my thighand it's moved behind my eyeball and thats why that whole area hurts.

Tell me this is what sinuses feel like or is it just that the left side of my body is falling apart?  It's just me right? My eyeball will not fall out or explode while I'm sleeping tonight right?

  • When I have a sinus head ache I get a lot of pressure in my forhead, and my nose. I just read though that what most people think to be sinus head aches are actually migranes so I could be lying here,

  • I have a history of dvt and I can tell you that a clot in your thigh would not move to your eye.  When there's a clot in the leg, if a piece breaks off, it goes to either your lungs or your heart, depending on where in the leg it was located.  Also, in my experience, dvt's hurt like hell and usually include swelling, but not always.  It seems like since you've had one before, you'd recognize the feeling if it was the same.  I've had 3 and I was clueless with the first one, but with the other 2 I knew right away, without a doubt, what they were.

  • My Mayo Clinic pregnancy book says that increasing eye pressure is normal. They have it listed as a symptom that tends to start between weeks 9-12, but I'm sure it can start earlier. Congestion and sinus pressure is also normal (and depending on how swollen your sinus cavity is I suppose it might be possible it's putting pressure on your eye).
