Anyone on Arixtra?

I was on Lovenox during my last pregnancy but hemotologist moved me to Arixtra post partum and I was very happy because I only had to do it once a day. I haven't heard of anyone else doing it during pregnancy but my OB told me to start with what I had and he will contact my hemo and I will start seeing him again (I was released to as needed when my hormone levels after my DD were back to normal levels). 

Just looking for other on Arixtra also? Anything I should look for in pregnancy? TIA!

i was diagnosed with Factor V and the hematologist prescribed arixtra. i happened to have my ob appointment the next day and when i talked to her about it, she didn't want to use arixtra and put me on lovenox. she discussed it with the maternal fetal medicine doctor and he agreed with her. i changed hematologists because i wasn't too thrilled with the first one i went to, and the new one recommended lovenox as well. so while i don't have experience with it, i know that all three of my doctors preferred lovenox to it.

Thank you for the reply. I actually decided that I felt not good about starting it so I called the hemo today and he said he doesn't want me to take it. I am going tomorrow and he is going to put me back on Lovenox like last time.
